About Us

Hobbyengine Model Limited is a well-established hobby and model supplier in Hong Kong. We specialize in designing and producing high quality hobby-type on-scale radio control vehicles, planes and boats, like R/C construction vehicles, R/C tanks, R/C sport racers, R/C tug-boats, R/C cruisers, R/C speed boats, R/C yachts, R/C planes, etc.

We built our own production plant in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, covering an area of about 30,000 square meters and the factory has been used as our production base. There are 1,500 skillful workers in the factory. All of them are carefully selected by our Human Resources Consultants and have been intensively trained. More than that, we believe that human resources are one of the major keys for success and thus training is often provided to our staff. Besides that, due to our good effort in quality maintenance, our factory has been awarded the ISO9001 Certificate.

There are six major departments in our factory, namely Plastic Production Department, Metal Production Department, Production Department, Research & Development Department, Molding Design Department and Operating Repair Department (Machine) and each specializes in different areas. Our Plastic Production Department owns 50 plastic injection machines with 80 experienced workers while Metal Production Department has 50 skillful workers. The Production Department employs 1500 workers and 15 automatic production lines are ready for production. Our Research & Development Department contains a Packaging Design House which we design our own packaging. The R&D Department has 20 Mechanical Engineers and 15 Electrical Engineers and electronic fabrication is done by our Electrical Engineers. The 50 workers in the Molding Department are responsible for the molding designs. Furthermore, we have 20 skillful engineers in the Operating Repair Department to repair our machines.
